One officer briefly pulled a weapon and aimed it at the crowd, one of the videos shows. Ms. Harned said she screamed and ran. It was uncertain exactly what type of weapon the officer was holding.

I live in the general area and I was walking my dog, had my whistle around my neck, and was flipping off the chopper that flew over me several times.

Yesterday was hell for a lot of people in a wide radius. These terrorists were everywhere and Signal was going crazy with updates and rapid response.

The state’s governor had called for a pause in the federal immigration crackdown over the Halloween weekend, citing concerns for children’s safety.

Here’s the deal: The entire Federal apparatus is now made up almost entirely of violent abusers. Guess what, when you ask abusers not to do something, they’re going to do it harder because you put the abusive idea in their head. Honestly probably would have had less issues if nothing had been said at all, as sad as it is to say. Once they know you’ve set a personal boundary, they have full intent to cross that boundary to ruin your day. I guarantee you that ICE presence was stepped up massively because of the governor’s request.

Thing is, they’re going to abuse folks no matter what we do. Peoples boundaries are just an excuse. Only way to ultimately stop it is to stand up in every way we can.

Oh for sure, I just mean that without standing up/pushing back and instead just asking them to stop, like the governor did, it’s just giving them more reason to fuck with you because they know it will bother you. Simply asking them “please dont do this” without any way to enforce that will always result in them trolling the fuck out of you and smiling while you suffer. The governor should have had a way to enforce this before asking, is all I am saying. You don’t ask abusers things politely and expect it to go well. Once they know it’s a weak point, they take advantage of it, and you’re exposing it as a weak point by asking.
