Exactly right. Increased budget, increased personnel, expanded “responsibilities” and Congress is not planning to defund or limit them.

Where. Are. The. Democrats?
The “opposition party” says nothing about the insane plans on Greenland. What kind of allies does Europe really have in the US?

You’ll get him with the fromage.

Not sure. Trump mentioned it, but he talks all day and forgets it the next.
Is there any immediate personal gain for him from this?

It upsets me so much, but this is how Switzerland survived WW2 unscathed. Of course many Swiss have the same reaction now with fascist America.

Right, that wouldbe the “testing resilience” case I mentioned. Setting up a node ain’t trivial though (I’m procrastinating to do just that right now), so I wonder about the required preparedness.
I expect the utility and reliability to grow with the number of users though.

Texting to whom, though, no? Especially online communication suffers from the people you want to communicate to not being on the platform. And since people organize in loose clusters you need to convince a majority of your cluster to adopt the platform. This is especially difficult when there are more popular alternatives that are not interoperable with others.
Mesh networks are potentially better because they are more resilient and don’t lock you into inoperability with other systems. But before this resilience is tested, how do you demonstrate the upside? Especially mesh networks require nodes in proximity.
Functions could be extended and you could provide services over the mesh using automatic messaging (all with reasonable respect for the available bandwidth). But more complex services require reliability. Isn’t this why it lacks adoption?

If you’ve not been looking for alternatives 1 year ago already, you don’t deserve to be reelected as a government in my opinion. It’s just negligence putting too many of your eggs into the US bucket.

Are there any exclusives that are worth it? The new Mario Cart got a soso rating for becoming another empty open world and other than the new Donkey Kong I can’t think of anything worth buying a new console.

The scariest part is how surprised and unprepared the rest of the world was. “Sanity will prevail!” Really? Why?

Innocent fishermen wasn’t enough. “Peace time president”
“You’re doing something very right here.”

Yeah, good luck… idiots.
I just say the problem is between keyboard and chair.

We all should have practice already since Covid. Trump being a fascist shouldn’t surprise them either.

How is there an Expedition 33-sized hole in your comment?
Imagine getting paid to do it.
Man, it’s so frustrating. I just can’t turn off my own qualms with shitty corporate culture and it means I will be less successful by the metrics we’ve set ourselves.

The game must be a GOTY contender or I’m not gonna pick it up at full price. I have no issues paying up for a new, unique experience that sounds exciting. Games I know I like, but rehash an old formula land on the wishlist until they are 30% off. Games that look cool, are recommended, but I’m not sure I will like them land on the wishlist and need to be below $20 when I buy.
With these simple rules I still have too many unplayed and unfinished games in my library, so… yeah… you gonna have to take some risks to win big.
Had the same issue, but even the gameplay trailer I found was not helpful to understand the pull, idea or appeal. I’m not saying the game isn’t good or worth it, but in past games the basic gameplay loop idea was clearer. Is this some isometric turn based battle game?
