I also was shocked how little content the game had on release.

There are currently 2 developers where I’ve pre-ordered before and would do so again but only because there was an additional upside to the pre-order (I don’t care about 3 cosmetic skins as pre-order bonus).
-Fromsoftware They track record was so stellar that I’ve bought the collectors edition of Elden Ring, which IMO also counts as a pre-order. Don’t regret it till this day.
I guess both of my cases are prime examples since both of them became incredible games and won the GotY in their release year. I would consider pre-ordering smother in the future.

Really enjoyed the short demo of Steam page was really funny. It may sound weird but it’s a mixture of Stanley parable (also fucking amazing) and counter strike 1.6 culture.

That’s part of the charm

Love this so much. Sure the price is steep and I need to check whether I can afford it, but I love them starting off with such an artsy product rather then a game. It seems much more in common with what the ZA/UM art collective originally was

I don’t have a source in hand but I thought I read somewhere that devs calculate 10% of wishlist so as actual buyers since a lot of people do it your way.

How is it? I currently have a lot of games to play, so I might even skip a free game

I think trying to fit games into genres and people disagreeing with your reasoning is incredibly bad around RPGs.
I’d argue disco elysium is a stellar example of an RPG especialls since I enjoyed role playing as someone who is incredibly far from my own mental state. A game with somehow gets me to roleplay someone so different is a prime example of a good RPG for me.
But I get how messy the term has gotten. People argue about whether Dark souls or Witcher are RPGs, where both games have arguments for it beeing an RPG. Personality I think an RPG has an adaptility in the character AND the world in response to my choices. But I can totally see how others see it differently.
For me personally I’ve set up that there are the traditional RPGs like Fallout, Baldurs gate and Pathfinder WoR. But there are also a lot of games which use a lot of similar parts of the RPG gene that I consider them RPGs aswell.

Wtf Silksong is real?

Honestly I see your point. I was sceptical at first because I like the clever wordplay of the terms but I think you’re right. Using existing terms like mystery might make genres more accessible again. Just imagine someone who’s not into gaming reading all the random ads terms and beeing completely lost.

Incredible game. Highly recommend to everyone. It’s another of those games where every piece of brilliance gets destroyed of I spoil them for you in a review
There was a good spoilerfree guide on the steam forum that I used to get more into the advanced stuff. But I think I’ve made all the totems without external help so maybe you’re missing something obvious

In these troubled times is good to know there is still a group of people who will reliably do the one thing these good at

Higher-Fier Rush

The visuals are soo good. Love the art direction.

Archon Studios recently introduced a mayor new technology into the hobby with Prismcast. This “printer” basically paints curved 2,5 D surfaces which you glue together to make a fully 3D model. AFAIK there is no way to make this technology in 3D

Honesty they are pretty average for prepainted miniatures. Painted miniatures at this scale is just not something that’s easy to do or cheap.

Damm you Phone and your flawed typing Support in two languages

I honestly wish i had the option to offer a facecall to whoever is toxic to me online. Its good to remind People, that there are realisiert humans behind the User names.
Teamspeak is still out there and I use it regularly. Since I’ve never cared about the posting aspect of discord they offer the exact same services.
