…Why would you want to poison yourself when the good news comes in??? Personally, the news would make me want to live longer on this planet if he were to die. Hopefully in a federal prison and of natural causes.

17·1 month agoI’m genuinely curious what would happen if the US lost nearly all of their foreign investors and all/nearly all of their major trading partners. (I understand that this is highly unlikely, but so was the thought that another world war would happen and happen in less than 50 years. I’m also tired of holding my breath on these things…)
Fingers for eyelashes. If can bend them, this is even better. That means I can flip people off with “my eyes” and in rare occasions, quadruple flip people off.
As somebody that cares too much about Lemmy and the Fediverse surviving… I BEG YOU! PLEASE, please, please… be a bit more willing to post and comment. If everyone was willing to spend a little time looking for new content to post to a few of the niche communities that they’re part of, (especially the least active communities,) and posted once a month or so, we wouldn’t have so many “dead” communities. And this would lead to a more rich experience on the Fediverse.

Man, I’ve dreamt of doing scrapping in the past but didn’t have a vehicle that would really workout for bigger items. But even then, I wish I would have done it with a friend or something. My focus would have been scrapping old electronics, printers, laptops, etc. How long ago did you do this scrapping stuff?

Trust me, I didn’t start this life with a desire to acquire so many (if any.)

I guess my biggest question is why you have a desire to start a community for Florida in general if there are a few for general Florida content and a lot for cities, sports teams, etc. already.
I’d recommend finding a community for Florida that you feel most at home with and post related content there.

Yeah, don’t do this, unless everyone consents to it, you or someone within the participants actually own the place you’re doing this in, you have a fire escape planned out, you have a smart way to put out the fire if it gets to big, you all have a way to air out the place when it gets to be to much, etc.

The moral ride I just went on while reading this is staggering. A slight nod while reading about burning pirated cds and dvds, as there seemed to have been at least someone in each middle or high school that did that. That’s an interesting situation to be in and to get paid for your troubles. Do you know if he was able to get sober from this or even after high school?
