I’m ahead of the curve.

I’m ahead of the curve.

Like Yoda we should talk. Easier, it would be.

But what about the shareholders?

I’m sure there’s shady crap in Windows 95 that they’d rather not be made public too.

Don’t forget about me!
The only people I do this stuff for is my parents, because they certainly did a lot for me over the decades. Also, if I don’t do these things for them, some asshole will drain their bank accounts because their passwords would be the names of their children.

Good points. But the plebs happen to serve these folks. Not to mention congressmen/women tend to be a lot easier to follow than billionaires. Also the paparazzi are a crafty folk being handed another tool to be sneaky. We’ll see.

How close do you need to get for facial recognition with a device that is designed to vacuum up every face it comes across? After a couple of scandals about who was out where with whom, that’s all it would take.

Buy a pair and follow rich and powerful people around with them. That’s how they become illegal.

What chain of logic brought you to that conclusion from what I’ve said? Step by step please.

I did not resort to swearing or insulting you. I’ve said all I meant to say and now I think I’m done talking to you.

It’s not a terrible metric if it’s used as it was initially intended. IQ was supposed to be a benchmark to show where you’re at, like weighing yourself on a scale. Then you’re supposed to take measures to improve it. It was never meant to be a defining attribute or a contest. Bragging about having a higher IQ than someone makes as much sense as bragging about how much skinnier you are than someone else. Bragging about having a 135 IQ makes as much sense as bragging about weighing 135 lbs.

Being fat is objectively unhealthy and in fact a chronic disease. It brings with it high blood pressure, chronic fatigue, higher mortality rates in younger people, diabetes, higher rates of heart disease, blood clots, arthritis, strokes, poor sleep, and a hundred other things. And it’s in fact a chronic disease that can be cured. Without drugs.
There’s a reason the first thing they do at a doctor’s office is weigh you. It’s a simple metric that is a strong predictor of overall health.
I’m not saying this as an indictment against fat people. I’m not saying it’s okay to fat shame. I’m saying this as a simple fact that being fat is unhealthy and has real consequences. I am also saying it is morally wrong to say it’s okay being fat. Saying being fat is okay teaches people that health does not matter and they go on to live shorter more painful lives.
I don’t think I’m smarter than you. I think you’re over thinking this.

I really enjoyed The Legend of Eli Monpress series, though it’s not pop culture.

They don’t have to win. They don’t even have to follow through on their threat. They’ve already done what they meant to do and that’s just to intimidate everyone else. There will be plenty of folks who see this and maybe speak out a little less or stop speaking out entirely. Do you think this case is going to get the same exposure after it’s been dropped? They’ll already be onto the next intimidation tactic.
What’s wrong with watching the original trilogy again like I’ve done all my life?
