Tried and true across history. The rich divide and decimate community to ensure collective action is harder. A general strike could fix things without violence, but that is unlikely in this climate. Change can come from far fewer people with violence, but it’s a bigger gamble.

Look at January 6th as an example. The government feared Trump’s power over his followers too much to prosecute him properly. The GOP all fell in line with him due in large part to fear. Had January 6th not happened, I highly doubt he would have gotten a second crack at the presidency.

They’ve already broadcast their intentions to push cloud compute for home use. These data centers train AI - but chips are improving rapidly. Amazon and others have already stated they plan to use these for cloud compute services as they become obsolete for bleeding edge AI. Microsoft has a low local resource client to cloud version of Windows they are releasing. They want all compute to be subscription based and it will definitely lack any real privacy protections as long as they can keep corporate capture of congress.

Not to mention those same companies obsessed with AI are the ones who run the search engines. They made finding all those tutorials and other good resources harder. They ruin search results with ads and easily gamed algorithms that they stopped trying to improve. All that made people more willing to let the AI find the answer.

They only care about one religion’s “rights” and they’ve made that pretty clear.

I’ve long held the minimum wage should be pegged to cost of living and inflation reporting and not be voted for each raise to it. This way anytime a business tries to jack prices beyond their added costs, it bites them in the ass.

Hopefully this helps drive a big wedge between Israel and the US. Lets stop giving them any weapons and aid. Tired of my tax dollars supporting a rich country dead set on genocide. Israel can handle their own affairs.

I’m convinced Trump and Project 2025 are trying to destroy the US - not just weaken the administrative state.
