Fall. Weather gets tolerable, the bugs die like they deserve to, the kids fuck off.

Autumn. All the places I’ve stayed the past few years have hot & humid summers and cold frigid winters… and Spring has pollens. So yeah Autumn/Fall seems to be the one with the fewest issues for me

    wither winter or rainy ig

it doesn’t snow in my area so except it being a bit chilly and earlier holidays winter isn’t that big of a deal.

love the rainy season vibes but there are a lot of mosquitos in my country T^T

The final season of Breaking Bad. That’s such a great finale and I had no idea where it was going.

  • Toss-up between autumn and spring.

Spring because that’s when the really good teas start showing up, when most of the flowers start showing (there’s nothing quite as beautiful as a plum tree filled with blossoms and icicles) and the days’ length starts to increase visibly in the race to the equinox.

Autumn because that’s when all the really good crops start hitting the markets, because the horribly humid heat of summer starts to fall, when the moon cakes start showing up (along with the nice delicate rice wines hitting the scene) and the colours start their final run toward their winter forms.

probably 2nd or 3rd, most shows ussually do t have their footing season 1, but its also not long enough for them to jump the shark or whatever

Around this time of the year, second half of spring. It gets hotter but not too hot, everything goes beautifully green, and summer is to come with kids being in holidays, tourists passing by, everything kinda changes and I like it

It has changed over my life a lot.

When I was a kid, it was summer because swimming and running around like an idiot.

As a teenager it was winter because of the stark beauty of it all. Then I started grooving on fall for roughly the same reason, plus that smell in the air.

I still very much enjoy the fall for that reason, and I appreciate the beauty of winter through windows. But winter hurts now, so it’s only through the window.

But the last few years, I’ve come to appreciate spring. From the early part where you still need a light jacket, but green is starting to burst into the world; to the tail end where warmth is starting to creep earlier and earlier into the day. The wind singing it’s sibilant song through the trees, the birds sweetly pitching woo; even the first sounds of humans tending their yards. It’s a sensory bath that manages to lull my mind into stillness and appreciation the way I used to get while watching leaves skitter in the fall.

I think my favorite part of this spring has been the return of honeysuckle. We had a lot in the area when I was a kid, but it all got killed off. I’ve been smelling it on the breeze this year, though. Finally found the patch where it’s growing, and I’ll hobble my way over to it, chickens in a line behind me, just to take some deep breaths full.

Yeah, spring is where it’s at now that I’m in the autumn of life

Fall, by a huge margin. It’s the perfect temp that if you need to do some actual work outside you won’t be uncomfortably hot, but if you’re idle you can still be comfortable in a light jacket. Best scenery. Best holidays. Best seasonal junk food.

I don’t have a favorite except I love a change in the weather.

I grew up in cold, shitty, cloudy rain and have lived in various climates since, and even if it’s just sunny all the time it gets… boring & tedious.

I love to go to the sea every day when it’s bright and beautiful out, and when itthat season is done I like to spend a cozy day inside because of the rain. A little bit of this, a little bit of that.

I’m all about autumn. It’s cool but not too cold, you can wear chunky clothes and it’s dark early without being ridiculous.

Winter. I also like the Autumn that I’ve read about, seen pictures of and seen people talk about. But we don’t get much of a noticeable Autumn or Spring where I’m from. A few leaves on a few trees here and there will start changing colours but that’s about it.

So Winter. Because you can wear your cool shit, you can do things without sweat and I prefer being snug and cosy under a duvet or two to lying naked under a fan and still not escaping the heat.

This “Autumn” that people speak of sure seems lovely though. Like the perfect season if it really existed here.
