It’s actually a name. Pajeet is a genuine Hindu name. It’s a pejorative, in the same way “Paddy” is both an Irish name and used as a slur for Irish people.
Anon’s use of slurs is disgusting and absolutely should be condemned. But the underlying observation seems to track with my LinkedIn feed; there’s a lot of people in tech on the subcontinent whose dream ticket is to get their company acquired by a deca-billionaire and think that simping online is a good way to make it happen.
