Our govt says: “We encourage those wishing to deliver humanitarian aid to Gaza to do so through established channels.” But these channels are being impeded and slowed by the Israeli govt. Palestinian children are malnourished, many are unwell and have no decent shelter. People are still getting killed every other day within a ‘ceasefire’. So, our govt’s words sound hollow and cynical. Plus they’re also saying ‘we can only do so much’ and that’s not much at all. Meanwhile, Australians are becoming scared of speaking up because our own govt is legislating against freedom of speech.
