Teaching your kids to stand up for themselves and others is not the problem, these insane thugs are the problem. They’ve been fed a bunch of lies and turned into rabid dogs, doing exactly what the orange turd wants.

Ooh I thought it was just wet, but I can definitely see where you are coming from. While I don’t know the different feeling between the two, directly spraying someone feels so much worse

I couldn’t speak on the relative feeling of either irritant myself, but that wasn’t my point.

Tear gas is a ranged weapon and has a wide area of effect. A kid getting caught up in that can be somewhat excusable depending on the circumstances. A kid may have been out of sight when the canister is deployed or on the peripheral of the target area. The one firing the cannister may have missed their target or someone may have deflected/redirected or picked up and thrown the cannister elsewhere where the kid was in the area of effect. The wind may have blown it unexpectedly, changing the area of effect towards a child. That is why I am making a distinction here. Tear gassing a child can be a mistake.

Pepper spray is a directed weapon with a short range and narrow spray zone. If a kid’s face and shirt is stained from it, someone pointed their pepper spray bottle directly at her and pulled the trigger. This is not a mistake. That is someone targetting and attacking a child with a serious skin, eye and lung irritant, one that can have serious, even fatal, medical reactions. That is inexcusable.

Good to always keep communicating atrocities like this, but not providing context that this is months old means we need to assume that OP is a clickbait ahole trying to upset folks for online engagement.

Not good, OP. This isn’t reddit, edit the title with the original date of incident.

The pedo in chief couldn’t deploy the army in cities so he turned ICE into a paramillitary force instead

It’s how it worked this time.

And don’t even try to say they didn’t know he would do shit like this. If you weren’t paying attention to what he (and Project 2025) were saying, then that’s on nobody but you.

Everything is debatable now. Visit the American heartland though and you’ll realize that victory for racist thugs is certainly a real possibility. Even in the light of absolute objective failure and complete abject senility 40-46% of the country approve of Trump’s leadership. It’s insane. Don’t give Americans the benefit of the doubt on this one.

she shouldn’t have been a major threat to these big macho men then if she didn’t wanna get gassed. Clearly she’s a massive threat to them. Don’t y’all see it?

They know the most dangerous are the least obvious, like a terrorist disguised as a little girl in a butterfly covered shirt.

The world isn’t a safe place, and it doesn’t get any safer when you turn 18; there’s no point in keeping the kids home as if that protection is anything more than a delay of the inevitable. It’s important to teach the next generation that the government is not their friend, and the way you do that is by showing them that the flag they’re forced to pledge their allegiance to every day in school is the same one that will attack them for suggesting that there be liberty and justice for all. The kids out on the streets today will be the ones leading their peers in the battles they’ll be forced to fight against the government as adults.

If they get fucking traumatized in the process, it’s a net negative. I can’t believe that has to be said.

Of course they’ll be traumatized. Everyone who gets pepper sprayed is traumatized. The government is banking on us staying home to avoid being traumatized until they finish enslaving us.

Oh yes, because a child getting pepper sprayed is such a good way to teach someone her age a lesson…

Also you cannot be forced to recite the stupid pledge of allegiance. There are plenty of shitty things happening to discuss without perpetuating lies.

The thing about “forced” is that it can be soft or hard. Sure, you have the option to not say it, but how many children realize they even have that option? Your teacher says “okay kids, we have a new song to sing!” and you do it because you’re a kid.

Me and all my peers said it every day without thinking at all about the words and what they mean. It was just what everyone was doing. That’s exactly how they teach you to fall in line - not with physical force, but with expectation and the desire to fit in.
