Quite the opposite. The US is demonstrating that it is above any international law and will do what it wants regardless of any standing agreements. It’s demonstrating that the only rules that matter are the ones it makes. Israel is our dog on our leash and we’re letting it bite someone. But if anyone hurts our dog, we’ll go full John Wick on their country. That’s why Israel bombs schools and hospitals without warning and Iran gives a few days notice before they attack.
The “genius” was the IN state Congress that made it law that 37.5 and under must be considered part time, even for minors. I was working exactly that every week while also going to high school when I was 16.
The last time I worked hourly was the late 90s. We got a paid 15 break per 4 hours worked. If we worked more than 6 hours, we also got an unpaid 30 minute lunch. I got no benefits because I was part-time at 37.5 hours per week.

It makes for a more defensible argument. No sane person is going to argue that a 4 year old child is an enemy combatant. But a 20 year old male? It’s easy to argue they could have been an enemy combatant and so maybe the numbers are inflated. Saying 1000 people can be interpreted as 999 enemies and only 1 civilian casualty. Saying 1000 women and children is usually interpreted as 1000 innocent lives lost.

Their game is just to try to make the ISPs liable; they don’t actually want it enforced. In fact, failure to enforce is the feature. They paint the ISP as complicit in the piracy then sue the ISP for hundreds of millions in damages hoping for a no-fault settlement. That’s a much better revenue stream than suing someone for 10k who can’t pay it.

I think this is a good question for a therapist. I mean no disrespect. Feeling the need to label shelves with the things on them sounds like a compulsion. As does oscillating between hoarding and purging and several other things you said. A therapist can help you manage these desires and keep you out of the rabbit holes.
It’s not even that simple. If you skip ahead during an ad, the YT servers could just keep streaming you the ad content anyway. Their servers can ensure that the next 30s of packet data you receive is an ad no matter what, so the only way you can skip it is to wait it out and close your ears and eyes.
