News@lemmy.world•Meta creates AI version of Mark Zuckerberg so staff can talk to the boss
4·3 months agoLet’s look at this from the other perspective too.
“Rich boss can’t stand human contact, trains a computer to think and talk like him to interact with underlings in his place.”
That’s why. Because Zucker can’t be bothered to speak with the rest of us any more then he must.

18·6 months agoAlso the sleep function on Steam Deck is pretty good. I bring mine to work and grab some offline playtime during my 15 minute breaks, and sometimes during my 30 min lunch after i eat. No Man’s Sky is chill and easy to pickup/putdown, Minecraft as well. I’m sure other titles would work as well.

124·10 months agoI thought he slapped a man for making a joke? I can see why many folks would see little difference, I mean violence is violence, but if we’re talking degrees Id rather get doses of slap then punch. Still unacceptable in the situation, however, and I believe what ever issue Will had that night skills have been handled in private.
All that being said, the man has aged and people move on.

5·1 year agoWoah woah woah, this about chemtrails? I can’t believe I’m even surprised, really, but how can these idiots be focused on this rather then literally any of the actual issues that people are facing right now?
That’s a rhetorical question, I already known the answer is they want to handwave away real issues and only focus on the theater issues they themselves create to generate outrage.
But I mean, they want to outlaw the imaginary chemtrails? Didn’t have that on my apocalyptic bingo card.

301·1 year agoUnfortunately the country I was born in, the USA, is also one that voted against the international resolution to define food as a human right. 😕

To turn around and leave. If they don’t pay the servers enough that my bill is supposed to be their entire wages, I don’t want to find out what kind of food is served. Cost- cutting doesn’t happen in only one place when the boss starts penny pinching. Also, I don’t want to support a business that isn’t taking care of its workers if I can help it, and I’d rather go elsewhere.
Also the sheer amount of that example bill worries me, cause I don’t get paid enough to be spending $90 on a meal unless it’s at least 4 people being fed. I can cook for alot cheaper at home, and still have it be celebrating.
