This is true. Spending more for newer A series vs used “higher” end older models is up the how the phone is used daily.
The A Series is like the Nissan Sentra of phones in my opinion.

At 299 or 399, but at 499?? That’s a hard pass. You can get a used pixel for less and better specs. I get it that people like new, but phone innovation has mostly stalled.

You can get a new battery for an older phone installed. I’m just saying this is getting like the car market where buying used is the value leader.

I think they should drop the a series. The used phone market can fill the gap.

Nfc payments keep me chained. I guess i can get a second phone just for setting up a watch, but i don’t want a watch. So i live by not using the default launcher and a vpn. I’m working to change my email provider slowly

Remote work opportunities

I’m thinking there is a unchecked police force going around the country. I wonder if ICE when to Alaska or Hawaii, i haven’t heard.

Thanks, that clears it up

What does ICE have to elections? Shouldn’t they be at border or something?

I also want to look into the exit node stuff.

Air fryer, i got it for around $20 at bestbuy. I haven’t used my gas range in years. I ended up getting a bigger over for 45 recently to make larger meats without having to cut them. I get the bella pro brand. They are certainly nothing fancy, but very high value for the amount of cooking I’ve done in them. Pork tenderloin, perfect.

Can’t use a vpn it shows location is from unexpected location and gets my passport reset. Its really annoying.

Sorry, I referred to car features that we really need. Before 2020 we had functional car interiors that everyone knew had to use and were pretty safe. I haven’t seen much innovation that has helped beyond moving all controls to the glued on iPad behind a subscription.

Cars peaked before 2020 for sure.

I wanted to share that i was able to get my CD copies of SimCity and SimCity 3000 running on Linux using Lutris to run the installer and configure wine. I can’t believe that Linux has become the way to run old 16/32 bit applications originally designed for Windows. Love it
