Take a look at OVMS (open vehicle monitoring system). I use it since I have an EV because I don’t want to pay for “connected services”.

I need a lot of tshirts with writing, that i do not consent to picture, audio capture, capture of biometrics from me and so on. Maybe here in Europe it may help a little.

On the weekend I hat maybe 27°C in Germany but 90% humidity. It was unbearable…

I proposed a long time ago a mandatory “fuck you” button for all software…

Just do like Cory Doctorow proposed and start reverse engineering and modding american technology and products: https://media.ccc.de/v/39c3-a-post-american-enshittification-resistant-internet

Can relate to the hatchets. I love love love my Gränsfors hatchet and axe! Still trying to find a reason to buy another one!
I am using wallabag since a long time (selfhosted). And I am loving it. With the Android app I can simply share to the app to save Websites from any Browser. But I have no experience with Readdeck.

The current German “Ausweisapp” also works on GrapheneOS.

Haha, tell that VW who stored positional data with full precision against their own rules (the CCC Chaos computer Club did a good presentation about this).

“though researchers identified Renault as the least problematic.”
Renault was found to be the least problematic and this was one point for me to buy a Renault. Did not consent to data collection as I bought it (used). I am not consenting in the cars systems and I dont use the cloud service. Installed OVMS and called it a day…

I think you are missunderstanding me. I am totally for 30 km/h zones! What I said above is a official rule for where you can establish 30 km/h zones.
Is it a dumb rule: yes!

I am totaly with you on that. That fact that those zones did improve the air quality would be a reason for me to keep them.

Yep sounds absurd. As I unterstand it the problem is that you need a reason for 30 km/h zones. The reason was the air quality which is now better so there is no reason anymore. Some zones may be kept because the streets are used by school kids.
I think this is still absurd and good 30 km/h zones with synced traffic lights can yield a good traffic flow.
I used a usb-c external SSD drive. Worked like a charm and I even could run starcitizen from that with no remarkable performance drop. Once I was settled with linux I just installed the external SSD internally.

Some other sideloaded apps work but everything with a map seems to be blocked. I had EV charging apps not show in Android auto.

Learned the hard way that android auto compatibility (on GrapheneOS) works only with the playstore Version of an app because andoid auto checks the install source. Thats the same gatekeeping at play…
Thanks I hate it.

I use backrest selfhostet on my server running yunohost. It is pretty much set and forget. I love it.

German Linux Magazin from 2005.
Yes that’s true. But I think if I would sue someone it could have some weight but for this you have to know it, proove it and sue someone. I would wear it more as a statement.
