It takes high salaries just to get people who want to do PCI compliance work

That is a trailer

I don’t recall being asked to. The question was “Is there any research on this?” And I answered the question lol.
Now that you’ve been made aware of the research done on this you can go look it up. Just Google “Infrasound NIH” and I’m sure you’ll figure it out from there.

There is a lot of research on this. Exposure to this level of infrasound has negative effects on anxiety, the ability to sleep, and even cardiac function. Those who experience the level exposure associated with living close by to these datacenters can start to experience negative effects on their hearts ability to contract properly after as little as one hour. Take into account these people are exposed to this every hour, hour after hour, for years if not the rest of their natural lives.

I mean for better or worse (It’s better) it appears Civ switching will no longer be part of the franchise. It can remain part of the Humankind franchise where it belongs.
Old World is a rad game, but it’s not about leading A Civilization through time. It’s a different kind of game.
Civilization can add whatever kooky mechanics they want, but ultimately the game is about playing A Civilization. It’s right there in the name.

You don’t like the game? Don’t play it, go on and enjoy the hundreds of thousands of other games out there rather than linger and whine until the devs cater to your whims.
Counterpoint: Humankind already exists. It exists as a similar but alternative game series to Civilization, which is a good thing. Variety is the spice of life. Turning Civilization into a clone of a completely different game in the one way most at odds with its own identity is a bad thing. Civilization is a unique game series doing something different from other 4x games. Losing that unique style of game is no benefit to consumers.
You already have Humankind, the devs of Civilization don’t have to cater to your whims by just cloning Humankind. If you don’t like that they’re turning Civilization back into a Civilization game, then don’t play a Civilization game. You have Humankind, just go play that.

There was no improving on that idea. Just a bad mechanic to its core. In a game called “Civilization” you couldn’t even play as one.

I will always appreciate game designers attempting to try to do something fresh over playing it safe.
They did not attempt anything fresh. They just blatantly ripped off the mechanics from one of their competitors.
It’s not as fleshed out as the previous entry until all the expansions land.
That’s not the issue with the game, at all.

Retails stores sometimes still have these in high-volume areas. Imagine your store loses power on Black Friday weekend. Some stores live or die by a few critical weekends a year. You might lose some merch through declines later but avoiding the loss in total sales will almost certainly make up for it.

And not only that but a frankly shocking change in tack given her roots in AI.

It’s important to note that two letter domains are generally reserved for country codes and would require a country for them to be provisioned.

Yes Anytype is just like Appflowy and Affine, Open-core not open source. And like the others doesn’t have full feature parity with Notion.

Yeah and ultimately these things are just not what Obsidian was designed for which is basic markdown notes. You can definitely mod the absolute hell out of obsidian but it does start to get a little heavy after awhile and it’s noticeable when you try to make a workflow that utilizes a obinch of plugins that didn’t really have the functionality of any other plugin in mind when they were made.

Notion just doesn’t have any FOSS alternatives right now that are a true replacement. A couple come close, like Appflowy and Affine, but they’re open-core with paywall hell, and are pretty half-baked as it is. Obsidian is awesome but it’s not really a 1:1 replacement.
Do you live in the United States? If so the only reasonable option for a router at this exact point in time is to run your own using opnsense or PFsense. You can buy an x86 mini pc with with a couple high bandwidth NICs and it’ll do the job

I mean I agree to an extent but also of course he would say that. Him saying this means less than nothing.

Fire trucks will gladly push a Waymo out of the way, but an ambulance doesn’t have that kind of horsepower, not to mention the fact that purposely colliding with another vehicle with a patient in the back is a great way to be sued and probably lose your qualifications

Did they state this, or is it a guess? Most corporate desktop users aren’t even the ones making the corporate purchases
Yes they stated this.
If desktop users are valued more, it’s because advertisers pay more for them.
Because the advertisers thing they’re corporate users at work
If a store is willing to pay more to advertise to a desktop user, but also tries to prevent them from using the site
Corporate advertisers are more willing to pay to advertise to corporate buyers. Non-corporate, non-business personal users are not corporate buyers in this context so they benefit more from funneling them into an app for purposes unrelated to advertising to them.

The desktop is worth more because of the assumption that you’re a corporate buyer at work.
The choice to force you into an app has nothing to do with this at all
When I started getting into this the common answer was Reolink. I’m pretty happy with mine.
