I feel your pain, I wish pi’s could be powered with PoE without modifications.
Yes I think you’ll need Home Assistant for that. You can add any Zigbee device to Homekit if it’s connected to Home Assistant; that’ll bypass the Hue account requirement.
Unfortunately I cannot answer that question. Opticians don’t use alcohol to clean glasses, they often use white spirit to clean lenses. Alcohol can potentially damage your frame (if it’s a ‘plastic’ one).
Just buy a Zigbee stick and you don’t have to change all your existing hardware.
Shelly works with Wi-Fi which I don’t prefer personally.
Hot water can damage your anti reflective coating. It can cause it to come ‘loose’.
Optometrist here; rinse with cold or ambient temperature tap water (don’t use hot water!), use dishwashing soap without citric acid if the glasses are really dirty, dry with a clean cotton cloth.
Who would have expected that?!
You need more?!

Looking into privacytests.org, the main developer behind it is someone who contributes to Brave source code. He may not be officially affiliated with the company, but it would be hard to ignore any sort of bias towards Brave.
(how do you tag someone here?)
There are quite a few documentaries about North Korea, they’re not that hard to find, and they really amaze you when you watch them.
Still here my man
Buy a zigbee stick and use zigbee lamps; they are widely available (Ali, Ikea, Philips etc) and this solution doesn’t cost a fortune. It also prevent you from needing to throw the lamps away whenever the app stops working or the manufacturing company goes bankrupt.
