How about Kanye-led?
I’d say about 50% of ddg searches end up with me adding !g.
Geez, they couldn’t write an article about the strike and the issues rather than how “runway-ready” she looks in a t-shirt?
Since my books are for TTRPGs, selling on DriveThruRPG has been better by far. I’ve made hundreds of dollars from there and under $10 on Amazon. Amazon tricks authors by allowing them to publish there then pushing those authors to pay to advertise their own books…which I did, but made zero difference. I’m also on Barnes and Noble, but made no money at all there.
However, as an author I’ve used their services to print copies of my books to put in games stores and that’s been very cost effective and made me decent money.
That’s not a bad idea. I’ll message you with a link. Won’t be Amazon, but what I’ll send you is there as well. I make zero money from Amazon sales. It’s a terrible platform for minor authors.
But if I tell you, I doxx myself :)
That is truly a terrible idea, and Amazon should be liable since they do exercise control over what they sell (which I know, because I have two books for sale there).
“Don’t try too hard (in my career). I don’t want you to be disappointed.”
…from my mother.
I stole my friend Andy’s plane, flew it and crashed it into the forest. I survived and hiked out, and he was extremely angry.
In real life, Andy doesn’t have a plane, and I don’t know how to pilot one.
I bought an electric field heater for my dynavap, so that’s good.
Wow. Could you have stated this any more like a douchebag?
While Mike Rowe is kind of a piece of shit, he did say one right thing: “Stop looking for the “right” career, and start looking for a job. Any job. Forget about what you like. Focus on what’s available. Get yourself hired. Show up early. Stay late. Volunteer for the scut work. Become indispensable. You can always quit later, and be no worse off than you are today. But don’t waste another year looking for a career that doesn’t exist.”
There is no perfect job. There are jobs you make perfect for you. If the job you are in prevents that, you move on. Never wait too long for a promotion, as you can promote yourself by having the strength and will to find that promotion at a different company.
Rank incompetence, starting from the top of the organization.

But really just the commercials on TV.
Really showing my age here.
I’m kind of specific.
Unless I purposefully want to hear sound, my devices are muted 100% of the time. If I am listening to something, I wear earbuds with over-ear hooks, so that one of them can sit partially out of my ear, so that my hearing is not completely isolated from the world.
Though…autistic.
I have no issues whatsoever with someone who used to have distasteful or evil beliefs. I only have problems with people who have them now.
Change is hard. People who put the effort in and change their upbringing generally have my respect.
I’m about 90% Lemmy, 9% Reddit, 1% Tribel right now.
As soon as Lemmy has enough people and communities to keep me always reading something new that interests me, I’ll be 100%. I’ve already abandoned subreddits that I modded. There’s little to keep me going back.
