I find it relaxing to not take seriously. It’s like a mix of GTA and Assassin’s Creed with beautiful graphics and a good soundtrack. The story is good, but not so good that I want to see how it ends right away.

I have an 11 year old son. He has neutered Internet that can do normal searches on. An hour budget a day for games. An hour for YouTube. Other than that he can talk to his friends on Discord or text. I check his Discord every now and then. He only talks to his buddies or my gaming buddies.

I still don’t get how to get Jellyfin to work with the streaming part. If I have media, fine. But getting the streaming of all those or sports, ain’t happening.

I just quit last year. Been at it since ARR. Don’t have time for it anymore. It is easily my top hours too.

It’s biological. I have sleeves. Worked in a shop (as a piercer). The flight or fight is real. You are self aware and know it CAN hurt better than most. Once the endorphins run out you can be chill.

Disbelief in basic scientific principles leads to dumb voters and dumb voters lead to a lack of accountability.

We can say that this is “wasteful” in dollars and cents. But this is visual proof that science does in fact yield repeatable results. Which is the essence of the scientific method. Which is also the best way to combat dumb fucks.

Most astronauts speak of this moment and realizing how absurd most of our efforts are. The humbleness of realizing that ALL of reality and knowledge has come from this one place. Pretty cool in my opinion.

Hired for a “warehouse supervisor” position. Not a huge warehouse but not a big deal. Probably 5-10 drivers. I was a truck driver with a degree. They took me on routes to see what they could do. I would “supervise” them once I had learn how they operate. Come to find out it’s a married couple that runs the joint. The wife was the main supervisor and dispatcher. The husband was the most senior driver and the cushiest of routes.

Needless to say I stayed 2 weeks and left.
