It’s almost like having the life objective to “score gals” isn’t a very healthy or good goal to begin with. It’s fine to be promiscuous and have lots of partners, but I don’t believe the mannosphere is the way to get there.

“This process is akin to how humans learn… The AI discards the original text, keeping only abstract representations…”
Now I sail the high seas myself, but I don’t think Paramount Studios would buy anyone’s defence they were only pirating their movies so they can learn the general content so they can produce their own knockoff.
Yes artists learn and inspire each other, but more often than not I’d imagine they consumed that art in an ethical way.
Huh. I did as well. Like /use/bin was for user installed applications and such. You learn something everyday.
Evan Williams - I’ll Stick Around.
I don’t often think artists are criminally underrated, but man this guy is so good, with a painfully low number of listeners on Spotify.
I discovered him through the Hi Ren video. He is so fucking good.
There’s a bit of choice paralasys when joining Lemmy. Even if you know how the fediverse works you won’t have knowledge of the culture and relationships of different instances.
I joined Lemmy.world because it advertises itself as the vanilla flavour of the fediverse, so it makes it an easy pick for someone like me who didn’t quite understand how it all hangs together.
But I do agree with you, and I’m looking to migrate after some concerning things have come up about the lemmy.world owner.
Edit: confused the owner of lemmy.world and lemmy.ml.
Hence why they said with constant copying to new hardware.
Though historically you could say the same with old written text, they could also be copied but humans are lazy and not very good at future proofing. One day the Vatican library will go up in smoke and we’ll have once again lost some of our history.
I’m definitely on board with participating. It’s a bit bare around where I live, so I’d be nice to contribute to future users. I’ve already added a couple of bins and public toilets I know of!
I’m just wondering about potentially temporal data. I know everything will change eventually, but I’d feel responsible to keep info such as timetable data up to date. I wouldn’t want someone missing their bus because I gave the times as they were couple of months ago. Do you know how this is dealt with in the community?
Someone else in the thread recommended mapscomplete, which seems to have a bunch of topics, with pre arranged written questions when adding an item. I assume streetcomplete does something similar? And if I were to use open street map directly I assume I wouldn’t get these questions and it would instead be all mamual?
Some countries have a “Romeo and Juliet” law that allows consent when the age gap is close. The UK does not have this, and someone under 16 cannot legally consent to sexual activity at all as far as I understand it.
Last time I checked codium out it couldn’t support the vs code marketplace/plugin repo. Is this still the case? I should take another look at it either way though :)
Edit: I answered my own question by reading some more comments. So looks like there are alternative plugin registries. I’ll definitely have a go at switching now.
Just to add my two pennies (that’s a saying, right?), I do use VS code as my default text editor. Professionally and for other projects in C++/C# I use the full fat visual studio. But for scripting, config editing, hex files, todo lists and such I use Code.
I’ve never been much of a person who needs to shave off every possible second in my workflow with macros and plugins, my brain is just not fast enough to out pace my hands, and the command palette does pretty much all I could wish for.
I of course wish it was fully open source, but for being the only Microsoft product I daily it isn’t too bad.
Oh stop it with this crackpot drivel.
You sound more confident than you maybe should :P
Depends on where you live. With my tariff I get paid to use energy during negative price periods.
Edit: typo.
Yeah, it’s just Google’s entry for the Apple air tag. I’ll have to read a bit more about it before I decide to turn it on, but from the outset it seems alright.
The geography itself is mapped completely differently, I assume they just didn’t make many expeditions that far north.
I’m sorry, but most people can go through puberty without masturbating in class (something I’ve been unfortunate to witness). You can have a healthy view on sex even in your teenage hormone phase. That’s what sex positive education is about. Those teenagers that crave sex will have it, so it’s best to just educate how to be safe about it. Andrew Tate and Trump are the exact opposites of being safe and having fun. Coercing or forcing yourself upon another person is the opposite of good sex. Yes, teenagers make mistakes, but the best we can do is shut down and call Tate and co out for the absolute incels they are.
