Totally with you, but tire dust is one of the major pollution particles from cars, maybe even the worst AFAIK. That, sadly will not go away but it is still leagues more desireable to have everything on electric than fossil fuel. Can’t have perfect stop good enough.

I put a small flexible light weight one up last year. Secured with steel washcloth line (it doesn’t have glass or anything, just a plastic sheet with cells on it), the city replaced the meter to account for feeding in (not needed, I work home office and use up all of it in my apartment) cost me 600 or so last year, plugs into regular wall socket and has already lowered consumption by about 1/10th which is a solid chunk of money with current prices. I am very happy I get to do something as a renter, even if it will take years to pay for itself.

You do not have to put up a cookie banner when you are only using technically required ones ornnone at all. Make a dedicated cookies page in your footer and have a table with every cookie, their name, their description and use as well as how long they last.

If you have none, put that info on that page. All you need to do.

GDPR has plenty provisions where other laws or considerations may be more relevant than it, negating it in such cases.

I still do think the GDPR is extremely important, but it is no silver bullet,sadly.
