That part makes more sense. In my state the tax on the house goes up. It’s not locked like that.
I feel like it’s an oversight to not calculate the new tax rate and include it as cost to the buyer.
The bank losses out on the loan if you foreclose on it. They make money on the interest not the sale.
The only one who makes out on a bad sale like that is the realtor.
This doesn’t make sense to me.
In my state the bank pays the property taxes. Its included in the monthly mortgage and goes into an escrow account for taxes.
I guess the rules vary by state.
TBC was peak WoW for me.
Especially with it taking 'half a day" I’d assume talking to 3-5 people. Recruiter, manager, knowledge checker, possible peer, etc.
The state of the job market is such bullshit. It’s one thing to go through this if you’re a final choice but often times you’re still just in the running. Wasting half a day with an on site trip to just get passed over is such bullshit…
But that’s the rats race. Welcome to the game.
Not sure what’s safe for kittens but I use mane and tail on myself. It seems they use it on show horses.
I see four adorable brain cells.
As a parent I’d externally be ashamed and blame brainrot.
Internally I’d be absolutely dying at the scene.
On the drive home I’d take it as an opportunity to teach the child about target audience.
Its actually a good chance to teach about right place and time. Some people don’t know you can’t teach coworkers as “buddies” because then HR gets involved.
Idk about kids singing HYCYBH…
I could imagine them using it on a teacher in class.
Teacher: “… Where is my board eraser”
Child: “HYCYBH?”
Teacher: Calls parents.
Perception Check is my favorite but wow so many f bombs.
As fun as it is to shit on Microsoft I like thier approach to AI.
It doesn’t replace staff. It helps them work more efficiently like having a personal assistant. Putting knowledge in thier hands to bridge gaps.
One example I saw was using AI to generate a Python script in context to make a chart with future predictions using a simple prompt and input. So instead of bothering your developer to write your basic Python you use AI for this tiny basic bit.
I used to do house calls a decade ago for IT work. Often customers offered me beverages.
Had a European who worked at the UN for decades make me tea. Blew my socks off. I’ve never enjoyed tea, but it seems like we just don’t know how to make it!
… The next month I was offered tea by a American. I wasn’t expecting it being made by a pro, but let him try.
He put “hot” tap water into a cup and tossed a teabag in.
I fake drank it.
I use distilled water for espresso and tea… Thankfully I started because of my electric kettle and espresso machine. Keeping the machines cleaner.
Never microwaved distilled water.
Sounds like you need to start a company and per diem staff.
I absolutely agree. I didn’t make my point of learning the native language. I’m annoyed by native Spanish speaking immigrants purposefully not learning English while living in the USA for decades.
It seems it also happens with Americans that migrate to other countries.
After being forced to use Azure DevOps instead of JIRA… I wish I had JIRA back…
