Linux still can get viruses. Just not as likely
It is detecting your ram with what I can tell from the screenshot. What program is that anyways? But it a large portion is being used. I believe windows itself uses aroung 4gigs and you might just have programs in the background using the rest, even a web browser could use a decent chunk
What does task manager show?
Download a linux distro iso file
Burn iso to usb using rufus
Restart computer with usb plugged in
Get into bios by pressing your system’s specified key to get into bios while booting
Go to the boot settings
Select your usb
Linux should pop up after a minute with install menu
If you configure the settings right, you can have a dual boot setup with both windows and linux
After linux is installed you no longer need the usb
Yah the dkim was largely what I had issues with. Mostly because it wasn’t mentioned to me that it was necessary. But once I was aware of it it was quick to fix
It is definitely a pain in the ass but I’ve haven’t had any companies as far as I know block my emails yet with my setup. The biggest thing is setting up your dns correctly to prevent your emails from going straight to spam
Ah you are correct. Never heard of their bridge until now
Protonmail has a free plan with a inbox size limit that 99% of people will never hit. I’ve had it since 2019 and only 15% usage of my capacity
Not a lot of other good options if you don’t self host which is a bitch even for professionals nowadays
A self hosted email server for privacy while keeping thunderbird access
Otherwise protonmail is the way to go
I see a lot of the good ones are already mentioned. But I can’t use a linux system for more than an hour without ‘thefuck’ installed
That fact that they made it natively in jetpack compose on android is actually really cool
I second this
This is awesome
Other than the good ole ad blocker, sponsorblock is a godsend
I’ll miss the r/place
Joining discords and forming alliances with complete strangers over a few pixels was quite a good time
Lemurs. Hence the Jerboa app icon
Why? Just why would they do that? They already have instagram and facebook. And now they want to literally make a clone of another product
I think honestly Lemmy just needs more mobile clients. Jerboa is ok, but third party clients are needed here like they are/were with reddit
Alpine is honestly my go to
Yah I don’t blame them for not liking Otter. I’m more of a beaver fan myself
