This is the best thing I’ve ever seen
Nah. The voting system is a great way to filter out bullshit, spam, etc. It doesn’t always work, but the wisdom of the crowd is real.
For many office workers, it would be about the same.
It’s about damn time
I don’t care whose fault it is, it’s obnoxious and I don’t want to bother with it. Lately though, it seems like everything is only being released as a flatpak app despite those issues.
Everything is ever so slightly broken in a way that I just can’t ignore. Personalization doesn’t quite work. Permissions are overwhelming and usually lead to silent failures. Integration with the rest of the system is weak at best.
I’m honestly so sick of everything being sandboxed. The security is not worth the hassle.
The only right answer.
I intend to start my own company at some point :)
Shelves in my bedroom, not hidden if that’s what you mean
Dildos, especially Bad Dragons. I genuinely love just collecting them
Clone Hero
Frets go brrrrr
Drive as far away from the hellhole I live in as possible. I refuse to die here.
The layout and navigation. Instead of a grid of apps, it’s a linear list. There’s a homepage of favorites, and a full list below that. I’ve configured mine so the full list is sorted by the first letter, then by usage within a letter if that makes sense. On the side of the screen, there’s a list of letters you have apps in, and you can quickly navigate the full list by hovering over those letters. I don’t think I’m describing it well, but it’s free with some premium features so I implore you to try it yourself.
I’m on Pixel 5 and my vote is Niagra! It’s utterly unique among launchers, most of which are more or less the same but with different customizations. It’s difficult to say what makes Niagra better for me, but now that I’ve gotten used to it (not easy but worth it) all the samey launchers just feel so much worse.
No, Mulan’s “male” side was only ever a disguise, not her actually being a man. She was manly/masculine perhaps, as she did end up being described well by the song “Be a Man”, but ultimately her gender was never truly in question by herself or the audience.
As for history, this Wikipedia page is an excellent summary.
It baffles me that this was ever not the case.
