There’s this one time my brother was playing some Total War (I think?) And he told me he lost his army. I gave my condolences and he said “No, I lost lost it. I don’t remember where I placed them and now I can’t find them.”

I know it’s mostly in jest but I can’t help replying lol.

I am a Euro Truck Simulator 2 enjoyer. Simulators are kind of another beast but I think “be as close to real life” can be a considered an artistic direction. It’s bad when a game isn’t being a simulation but pushing polygon count for its sake.

We probably can consider simulators as edge cases I guess lol.

Photo realism with no artistic direction is pointless.

I have been on kbin.run (kinda confusing name lol) for awhile now because of the instability of of .social and the added functionality of mbin. For some reason .run’s certificate doesn’t work with my home computer’s browser (Waterfox) so I made a fedia.io account as well.

I’m satisfied with the mobile web interface for m/kbin so I don’t feel a need for a dedicated app.

I used to whitelist yt on my ad block because a I know portion of it goes to the creators. Then yt took advantage of me by adding more and more intrusive ads. Now I support creators directly whenever I can.

Problem is the ads are not widely rolled out so user timestemps would be off depending if there’s an ad or not
