I’m a sex adverse asexual. It has been more curiosity that they actually exist more than anything for me.

I had no clue these games even existed until this whole thing. Now I’ve seen far more porn games than I ever expected to be a thing.

I’m not entirely sure that is “normal” though. We don’t have to go back very far to reach a point where people would be making their own tools for their craft. I think this modern day is pretty abnormal in the grand scheme about not knowing how the things used actually work or is put together.

I know people who claim to be tech literate but then keep sending me actual photos of their screen whenever they want to share anything. :|

There’s nothing feminist about them, they coopted the term to try and lend themself legitimacy. They’re feminist in the same way that DPRK is democratic.

My distro is the best because I don’t have the patience to try them all to see which is actually the best for me. Until my distro decides to do some silly decision that makes me think I should try another, I will stick to it.

I feel like the one thing preppers miss the necessity of often is social skills. If you’re adept at befriending people and getting them to work together you’re all going to be better off. We’re all humans and working together is how we made what we have.
It was Slackware… Back in the late 90s. Do not ask me about how kid me managed that, all I recall is endless terminals, kernel panics and eventually getting a desktop through some arcane means I can’t remember.
I didn’t return to linux for many years after that experience.
I still have the 1996 edition of Slackware Linux Unleashed and the CD in my bookshelf as a reminder.
I refuse to drive or take any form of public transport, unless I am going to be traveling far.
I walk or bike everywhere I go. I get to where I am going and I get exercise along the way. I barely think about it anymore, it has just become normal to me.
I don’t want to talk about other peoples experiences when it comes to games and graphics drivers on linux. I can just mention my own experiences with it. As a disclaimer I have used linux for years, just not as my main desktop.
Graphics drivers I have not had any issue with, they’ve been pretty plug and play. Games I’ve found can be a bit hit and miss, most will just work fine right away through proton or wine while others can require a bit of tweaking and troubleshooting to get running properly. I have yet to run into a game that just would not run at all however, but that could also just be that the games that wouldn’t run are ones that didn’t interest me already.
an hour to walk to the grocery store is about 10 minutes on a bike. Just get a backpack to carry things.
