Blew up my 11 year account. Lemmy got memes and the porn showed up as expected. No reason to go back.

It’s a bit wonky but so was reddit. I expect it to improve quickly with it’s sudden interest.

Had an account for 11 years but lurked for a few before. Yes. I been expecting it for years since its been declining but still going to miss it.

This is the natural cycle. Big sites get greedy and kill off the user base for a payout and we go to the next one. The fact reddit kept alive for so long is surprising but it take a lot for people to bother moving.
