Okay lol, my bad. I guess I have been living in an echo chamber when it comes to that game. Earth Defense Force. Love the series. You save the earth … by destroying it.

My spine is already fucked by years of programming so no worries there mate.

Okay had to dig into it but found it. It’s called Anurati font.
lol I guess you haven’t played EDF then?
I don’t know about any protests and I don’t care enough to stop watching it.
But embarrassingly enough I actually watched all the seasons of Curb a few months back and finally decided to try the Seinfeld. I was expecting it to be the usual sitcom routine but I shouldn’t have prejudged it esp considering Larry’s sense of humor.
Well the best thing about it is that she wouldn’t even touch linux before this. She’s primarily a mac user. But after I dragged her to see my desktop modifications, after 10 eye rolls, she said she could do much better job than me.
Hours later she was still at it, hairs scattered, baffled looking… saying how could someone live with so many choices lol.
The good thing out of this was that now she’s starting to see the point of linux after all these years.
Eh, let it fall. I have been wanting to replace that samsung 4k crap that looks worse than 1080p chinese monitors
Close. Army housing. It’s free so I am not complaining!
I always come back to OpenSuse Tumbleweed. Once I have everything setup, it’s stable as a rock and kde works really well on it.
Finally started watching Seinfeld and oh boy, I’m mad at myself for not starting sooner.
Go to hiking, and do some work related stuff so I can take a mid week break next week.
After going through a rabbit hole what I learned that this patch does is to allow time critical applications at top priority.
Most of popular linux distributions already have this patch applied in one form or another.
What I think it means for end user is that if applications use this part of linux kernel correctly, then they can speed up some core parts, be more responsive, and stable. But if it’s abused, it can end up slowing the whole system.
There should be a sub for this kind of stuff so I can block it.
My man wrote a whole essay to start a casual conversation lol.
Anyways to answer: fountain pens. I got some cheap chinese ones from Ali Express, the company is Jinhao. A really good bang for your buck. You can get a pretty good one under 10 bucks these days…
Anyways the appeal of the pens to me lie in how deliberate they feel. You give importance to your writing by using a FP.
Another appeal is the feels of the pen. I have on occassion thrown away ball point pens by pure gut reaction if I accidentally grabbed one.
I wanted to be a theoretical physicist. Somehow ended up running a small AI company. Money is nice but I still think of persuing my dream once I have enough saved up.
My quick pickle recipe:
Vinegar + Water in equal proportions, and whatever spices you like.
Boil it and turn the stove off.
Put in the sliced cucumbers , onions, and whatever else you need to pickle.
After a few minutes it’s ready to be used.
Cool off the solution afterwards and put it in fridge for storage.
