Don’t know what zionists are downvoting you but they must be butthurt fascists
Of course you’re too high on smugness to bother getting the connection. My point hasn’t changed since the first comment I made on this thread, you’re just too much of a debate pervert to understand that
You clearly don’t even understand my point, because you’re not bothering to learn anything. You can’t even grasp the differences in economies, let alone the differences in how one is operated from a liberal party compared to a workers party.
Do you even know the main difference between the Chinese economy and the US economy? Both are mixed, as in they both have elements of socialist and capitalist organization, yet are organized and controlled in vastly different ways. The US, and other western economies, are beholden to Capital interests, because the liberal parties subservient to Capital. The socialist aspect has been withered away since the gains of socialist forces for decades, because workers have no power. The Chinese economy is under the control of the CCP, a workers party. While the party itself is organized as a Democratic Republic, the State is under the dictatorship of that workers party, meaning that Capitalist forces are subservient to the state. And that’s before the discussion of how a party can be communist, yet be able to wield the forces of capitalism within a controlled scope to rapidly industrialize key industries before taking state control to socialize those industries in the form of state capitalism. Let alone how worker cooperatives, where there is an actual socialist means of production, fit into the picture.
No investigation, no right to speak
You’re just proving my point here
Thanks for sharing what you know, it’s a refreshing perspective to learn from
Do you know of any historians on the revolution to modern-day china that you’d recommend?
authoritarian and democracy are not mutually exclusive concepts. I think ignoring the details of both aspects in favor of thought terminating clichés is counterproductive, assuming the goal is to actually understand the intricacies of these societies instead of a black and white understanding.
You can either investigate yourself or lean into your preconceived biases, if you’re choosing the latter that’s your choice.
You clearly don’t want to have an actual discussion that includes those nuances that take into account the geopolitics of global capitalism and material conditions, so let’s just agree to disagree or something
It’s a massive simplification that removes all context of each of those countries anti-colonialist and anti-imperialist histories, all of which is incredibly important to understanding their current political organization and the scope that democracy holds in each.
You’re missing the point…
That’s their version of Democratic Republic represention within the party, shaped by the material conditions of both the before-mentioned genocidal bombing campaign and the continued attempts of outside forces to collapse the state via CIA Activities and Sanctions designed to starve and isolate the entire country.
You should check out the Blowback podcast if you’re interested in The Korea War and how those events shaped Present-day North and South Korea
Voting is incredibly minimal at best but has marginally expanded since 2023 with some primaries.
North Korea is basically if a trauma victim was a country, shellshocked after a genocidal bombing campaign. Blowback Season 4 goes into crazy detail about the war. That’s what caused them to pioneer the tunnel technology we saw in Vietnam and also Gaza today.
Unfortunately nuance has no place here, nor does the anti-colonialist context or distinction between party and governance.

Not to mention the oil CEOs are directly responsible for delaying and inhibiting the transition to green energy
That’s not a response to either of the articles about Harris’ statements. How brain-dead can you be?
You know who are the ones advocating for child marriage laws? Republicans, White Christian Nationalists.
Every accusation is a confession with you freaks
Do you mean Sam Sedar? Sam Harris is quite racist

Strange, because reading this sounds like you don’t even understand what the mode of production or the contradictions fundamental to capitalism are. I find it hard to believe you’ve read or listened to his works but to each their own

Economist Richard Wolff has a lot of material on YouTube that explains the differences between Capitalism and Socialism as a mode of production, in addition to how this relates to how China’s economy differs from those like America. Assuming you are genuinely interested in learning more

Yeah dude, for sure
In May 1958, Israel was invited to a meeting of the Council of Europe. After that, a special commission was set up to discuss Israel’s possible participation in the NATO economic procurement program.[5] After that, Israel began to supply weapons and military equipment to the countries that are part of this organization.[6][7]
In December 1987, Israel signed a memorandum with the United States on the status of a major non-NATO ally. This status was awarded by the US administration to particularly close allies with whom it maintains strategic relations but is not a member of the organization.[8][9] This step was initiated by Defense Minister Yitzhak Rabin.[10] The memorandum strengthened ties between the two countries in the field of defense research, development and procurement. It also included logistical support for Israel. The document compared Israel’s status in the United States with that of a NATO member, which allowed it to participate in and gain access to U.S. security development programs. The memorandum also simplified the access of the Israeli defense industry to tenders from NATO countries. This was supposed to make it easier for them to participate in the tenders of the NATO countries.[11]
In November 2017, Israel and NATO signed an agreement on the mutual exchange of security information.[25]
On February 9, 2018, a cooperation agreement was signed between Israel and NATO. This agreement gave Israeli companies the opportunity to participate in NATO tenders.[26]

A few weeks ago, Commander of NATO Maritime Command Vice Admiral Keith Blount said, “Israel has been an important partner to NATO for more than 20 years as well as an active member of [the] Mediterranean Dialogue.”

If you think any of that is awesome, that’s a huge yikes
The punishment for dodging is a couple months. The alternative is genocide.
