Oh I guess I never knew that 100% of the air nomads were benders. Is that cause they exile any non-bender children? Seems pretty unlike them…

“England is my city”
or
“Thats an awfully hot coffee pot”
Guy must’ve really been booking it on his bicycle if he got mistaken for a friggen rocket
I love black licorice. Developed a taste for it as a kid because it was the only candy available at my grandparents house. Now if I’m hanging out with buddies and I don’t want them mooching off my snacks, I’ll bring black licorice. I’ve only met one other person that wanted some and I was happy to share haha

Aaron Carter’s “How I beat Shaq” is pretty hilarious. They actually got Shaq in it, but it’s clear that Aaron Carter had no idea how to play basketball. And they have to make it look like he’s better than Shaq? Yeah right
Team Rocket blasting off again!
Merry Chrysler!
I remember reading a comment thread on reddit about a guy who discovered his friend refused to wash his ass crack in the shower because he thought it was gay.
Gunpower too
I really enjoyed The Powder Mage trilogy by Brian McClellan. Black powder style weaponry and some types of people get magical powers from ingesting black powder. I was a bit skeptical at first, but it really hooked me pretty quick
It also taught me how to type (albeit not 100% correctly because I use my right pointer finger to hit the space bar rather than my thumb)
Every now and then I’ll have that “oh oh ohh, it’s magic! You knooowww” lyric pop into my head. Followed by a higher pitched “never believe it’s not sooo”
I’ve only seen a couple anime over the years, but I really enjoyed the Cyberpunk: Edgerunners on Netflix
I studied abroad in Australia for a semester (from the United States) and took an Aboriginal Studies course and was incredibly glad I did. It was crazy to see the parallels to how the Native Americans were treated/colonized here in the Americas. Truly barbaric stuff. They’ve got something called the Lost Generation where pretty much all of the children born during a certain time period were forcibly taken from their families and forced to become “civilized”.
It was really cool learning about how the aboriginals would do these “prescribed burns” where they would purposefully start small wildfires to burn away the undergrowth, which would in turn enrich the soil with lots of carbon. Really neat stuff
