Where did you download it? From what Ive heard the Play Store version lags behind a bit. I got it via f-droid and now have buttons to jump between top level comments (this isnt the only change but it is the most obvious on first glance). A lot of instances arent on the newest version of lemmy yet though, since the sign up captchas were temporarily removed and preventing bots to sign up is way harder without it. I dont know if there will be software conflicts due to this mismatch though.

I am pretty sure that there was a setting that opens all links in new tabs, but it could be possible that it only exists in the desktop program.

I will be going to the Amphi Festival in Cologne this year! I still have to find someone to go together with me, since it is way more fun to have some people to talk to for the weekend when it happens but I am already excited.

I’m from Hannover, in Germany. It is quite nice to live here, although the recent attacks on queer people make me worry a bit about my safety even if I am not visibly trans. Some more info about the place I live in is that it is one of the most flavourless cities that exists in Germany and seems to only have bad news going out. But it is surprisingly green, walkable and has one of the best public transport systems that I used.
