Well hopefully at least we’ll get one more good game out of them with Control 2. Maybe also the Max Payne remake. Hopefully they’re too far along for Mr. Shareholder Speak to fuck it up. But I guess we’ll see.

Maybe also from a curse, but also kind of the same thing when you think about it.

Magic

Even better they should sell the oculus tech to someone else who might give a damn.

Yeah time to start saving as much as you can if they buy you, if you weren’t already doing so.
Then you’ll at least have something for when the inevitable comes.

I mean, it’s very expensive. If I were employed when it released I’d have probably gotten one, but there’s what like 2 games that are exclusive to it?
It can wait until I can afford one. Probably on sale.

Yeah and like, we’re reaching diminishing returns with how good things can even look. It already looks incredible, let’s work on making it look that way with less processing power and file sizes now. You don’t need another more powerful machine for that.

Good, I can’t afford new shit now anyways. Gimme shit for the shit I have.
I used to more when things were more disc based from stores, but it’s rare that I do now.
Occasionally I still may if I have the money and it’s a game I know I want and will highly likely enjoy, if only for the pre-load capability. But it’s far rarer now. Sometimes they throw in some pre-order dlc, and if I know I’m going to buy it at launch anyways I may as well just technically pre-order it. But again, I do it much rarer now than I did a few console gens ago.
Early access is a bit of a different story, and I will sometimes buy an early access game if I like where it’s going and want to support it. But those are also pretty rare for me.

And then it takes human coders way longer to figure out what’s wrong to fix than it would if they just wrote it themselves.
It was apparently my top played game on PS5 this year because earlier in the year I got really into playing it while listening to King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard.
Suicide Squad I took for free because I was morbidly curious (didn’t finish, was bored) but this I don’t even care if it’s for free.
Even aside from JK being a giant turd I just never cared for the whole brand. It’s like what if witchcraft and wizardry sucked actually?
I know if I took the game and played it I’d play for like an hour and then probably never touch it again, so I just won’t bother.

At this point Remedy has my trust with these games.
At least when it comes to the single player games, I’m sure Firebreak was still cool but I didn’t really want to play that one since it was multiplayer focused.
Their single player story stuff though? I’m here for it always now. So long as Sam Lake is involved at least!

<I AM READY/EXCITED/IMPATIENT>

Well fair enough!

No idea what the game is but it sure was creepy!

Good.

I like the rainbow vomit, but I get it.

Cool, hope they go under with the rest if them.
Yeah like I try to have empathy, but these are the people that we’re expected to come to an agreement and work with?
An impossible task until they are personally affected.
