At that point you might as well just place an entire agrivoltaic system on your roof, although it requires significant structural support and you would be living underground.

there’s concepts like biorefinery where we take plastic and agricultural waste and put it into a heavily modified oil refinery and out comes biochar and some chemical feedstocks (e.g. ethylene) for making new virgin-grade plastic. Depending on the design it can be more carbon efficient than carbon capture, but in general these industries use a gigantic amount of energy while producing less plastic and much less gasoline/diesel than a normal oil refinery.

yeah, a very big tank (more than 2000L) of warm water can last a few days which is important for intermittent sunlight.

the most common uses of sudo are: pacman -Syu and apt update && apt upgrade. Windows needs proper CLI for the Microsoft Store or else windows sudo is quite lame.

why not combine offshore wind power and desalination? The larger scale of the bigger wind turbines offers sufficient power to operate a more efficent desalination machine.

I want to see a wiring diagram that would take advantage of the invisible solar panels. Wiring up invisible solar panels sounds very difficult, unless you use wireless power transmission as Tesla tried to invent?

the reason that solar panels are black is that most of the incoming energy from the sun comes as visible light. If we leave that light unabsorbed, we loose out.

something about the curse of competence, that our solar panels will increase daytime energy use without reducing emissions by much, if we don’t fight the idea of consumerism and unlimited energy.
