  • I’m not sure what exactly you’re asking, but I’ll assume it’s not the standard “I can’t find this remote community” question, as your fourth search result is from the exact community you’re searching for… and has a direct clickable link to the community as federated to your instance (in green).

If you want a direct link as a search result to the community, search for it’s URL on its home instance, e.g. here https://lemmy.ml/c/lemmy_support

You can get this via the link under the community header on the left, where it says “Lemmy Support” and underneath has the hyperlink “!lemmy_support@lemmy.ml”. Click that link or copy its URL.

  • I have the impression that the federation thing as a whole still has some issues. Like I checked some of my submissions on different instances and it would sometimes show different comment counts, but the comment which would explain the difference was nowhere to be seen. So it wouldn’t surprise me if vote (non-)propagation also doesn’t always work as intended.

What do you mean by saying “even”?! Reddit.com/.compact was my interface on mobile for Reddit for years, and I still miss it.

I found a decent app in Boost, but no app I know supports how I liked browsing Reddit, by opening a bunch of threads in tabs, often leaving them open for days to be able to quickly check back on them. All apps (also Jerboa for Lemmy) only allow you to sequentially view posts one by one.
