Because burner phones have bad cameras.

The PT Cruiser is okay, but the Prowler was better.

No, women can be rapists too.

Currently it’s cheaper to road trip on gas than electric, mainly because NACS supercharging is so expensive, currently around $0.70/kWh for non-Teslas at superchargers. Once the CCS chargers start converting to NACS prices will hopefully fall due to competition. Also gas prices seemed destined to go up more and once they climb to the mid $5’s, electric pulls ahead again. An EV still makes sense overall because for most people most driving is not going to be road trips and so slightly higher costs for a road trip are going to be more than paid for due to local driving but unfortunately right now road trips are not a strength of EVs.
I wish I didn’t have to look at or touch my phone for navigation. No clue why, with modern tech, I can’t communicate with my phone verbally star trek style to ask questions about upcoming turns, alternate routes, adding stops, etc.

I’m curious: is the feeling that comes from successfully edging multiple times in a lengthy session anything like your pre-T orgasms?

Meanwhile commenter Ken’s on the prowl.

you could at least have linked instead to the business insider article this is ripping off.
The hypocrisy. Here’s that link https://www.businessinsider.com/cargo-thieves-stole-million-of-data-center-supplies-sheriff-says-2026-6
(I’ll mention though that the Vice article is better because the BI article is paywalled.)

Courts have unfortunately already decided it’s all legal, so it’s more of a personal ethical issue now.

True! I sorta did that with The Matrix. I read reviews for the second movie and multiple people were regretfully saying they wished they had stopped at #1. So I’ve never seen any of the sequels.

Link appears to be dead

Happy endings. Although I like them anyway, because I’m trying to escape from reality a bit by watching.

Don’t really drink beer anymore but I’ve gotta make those mugs in my freezer worthwhile!

No need to stop at just pants.
Ah so that’s how this ends…

The 10 second 0-60 of my current ICE compact crossover SUV already gets me around town and on the freeway just fine. A 90s Toyota pickup I once had gave a 13 second 0-60. Slate Truck is 8 seconds. The Slate Truck isn’t going to give Tesla acceleration, but hardly anyone needs that, and that’s not what this is competing against. As far as horsepower, the Slate also beats both. So no, this doesn’t have “shit power” it has expected or even above-average power compared to competing 4-cyl ICE vehicles.

I agree with you that online conversations are rare these days. Just my personal opinion but social media isn’t usually great for conversations. It’s better for shallow comments, drive-by’s, and echo chambers. Social media also tends to steer toward blind comments, so there is a lot of repetition. Forums seem to be better for conversations because there’s often a emphasis on reading the entire thread before commenting, there is more moderation, and also because they tend to accrue replies more slowly. However if a thread becomes too long then forums break down too, so nothing is perfect.

Thanks! I think I prefer startpage.com (which I only just learned about due to this thread) because it doesn’t redirect to google.com. But this is also good to know about just in case.
They need to grow it a lot more, it’s not even close to The Mark of Gideon levels yet (aside from some trains during peak hours), so they have a lot of work to do! Correction, Worf doesn’t consider that work.
