I have an Indian colleague who told me he was threatened with arrest after a traffic stop for having element and conversations installed on his phone as the cop told him those are used by terrorists and he should just use WhatsApp

2·2 months ago@bruhbeans@lemmy.ml there are certainly a lot of bitcoin bois, that can get annoying, but I’ve seen a lot more nazi, facists, terf, and racist content on certain corners of the ActivityPub powered 'verse than I have in the year or so I’ve had a NOSTR account in that part of the 'verse.
or are you saying that no one has bothered to look into it because of this reason.
