yeah it was outright visible that the documentary was especially well-done because a potential IPO

thanks for the nuanced response, i will take it to heart.

ok, thanks, i’ll keep it in mind

I think this may have just happened to you OP. That’s not a common way to see children.
i don’t see it that way, but a lot of people in the US seem to, at least from what i can see. see my other comment for explanation.

Tons of people have kids, tons of people want kids. The idea of ‘you’re a child’ being the worst insult is baffling, honestly.
yeah tbf i’ve never set foot in the US; i get this notion from social media, movies, books, etc.
wait let me record a 10 second sequence of a movie.
https://files.catbox.moe/3ouv81.mp4
(the video should have audio, in case it doesn’t play, a download should do it)
anyways the woman says “have you ever considered that you’re wrong? hah, of course not! you’re a child.” upon which the other person freaks out. which i have seen sooo many times in pieces of media (especially from the US)
anyways, meanwhile, children can actually be really reflective and understand a lot, also when they’ve made mistakes or hurt someone. so saying that somebody is a “child” when they can’t reflect on themselves, in my opinion, is inaccurate.

i’m not a fan of musk at all; however this is in the technology community because it’s a good technological breakthrough.

when you’re using a sailing ship, you’re not actually using wind to drive, instead you’re using the energy within the wind’s movement, that’s what you’re using to push the ship forward. the air does not get consumed in some kind of air-eating machine or sth
it’s similar with electricity. the electrons rarely get consumed (exceptions exist, mostly in electrochemistry)

geopolitical stability is partially caused by a balance in technology level. england could only rape china and india in the 17th century because china and india were backwards ass farmer’s countries back then. they industrialized and eventually kicked the english people out. which is why china is so focused on industrialization today. they know what’s coming to countries who don’t have the mechanics to fight back.

which is why we need tax money being spent on the communal level. not the federal level. it’s the fed gov that spends it on the military, it’s the municipality that spends it on schools.

does anybody have any numbers on how many taxes he actually pays? (with sources pls)

the simple solution would be to put every game into a sandbox by default

ouch that hurt but is this really world news? is it relevant to an international audience?

No, i know mine wasn’t. I think future generations will have it better.
i mean that if you have an infinite space, the total useable energy does not converge to zero even though it does in every small region of that space. local convergence to zero does not imply global convergence to zero. if you took Analysis 1/2 in maths university, you know that.
ehh, “entropy always wins” is only valid in closed systems. the universe is not a closed system.
not if we export it to other planets first ;-)
except if it clones itself indefinitely … like siberian forest trees.
so i was just walking to the nearest supermarket when the supermarket radio (they usually play music) calmly announced “for the next week, we expect a warm 35°C” … wtf
