How is there space between the solar system and interstellar space? Isn’t interstellar just everything between the star systems?

Ok, I didn’t know that. I was thinking of copy as in similar name like adidos will never replace adidas and neither will sadidas (even though it’s a palindrome while the original is a close miss). So I expect something wrong with the name but we just misunderstood each other.
