You can open/extract extensions (at least Firefox ones) as zip files, they’ll contain the code and assets used by the extension.
OpenNIC is an interesting option, if you’re okay with community-hosted servers.

disroot is a great option, but it’s recommended to use PGP for the best privacy

As far as I know, there are ways to do that without revealing the websites blocked (for example bloom filter, with a note that it can have false positives, or just the hashes of the domains)
There’s OpenNIC, which is run by a community.
clonezilla can backup whole drives/partitions, but it doesn’t allow booting from an image directly (by itself), but (with some tools) it’s possible to mount a partition to a directory.
