Micro for basic stuff I find it better than nano or VScode for code stuff. I’d like to try neovim at some point.

Skin so thin your translucent. Enjoy your Spotify with ads.
Yeah of course, nicotine+ is a good client. The webapp I see most people use is slskd but there are others too. Where do you get your music from? Surely you don’t pay evil companies for it and not support the artist directly when you can?
Do you have to login all the time? I run mint on my TV on a mini pc and it’s fine but having to login is a pita. I tried to make it login less but it didn’t like it and I think it broke some things.

No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•How come it seems the transfer rate from an hard drive to usb is noticably slower? But a usb to usb is incredibly fast?
11·16 days agoSata is 6gb/s at its fastest which is what most hdds connect with. Your nvme depending on pcie version and then even your usb port speed all matter. I have a pcie5 nvme my mobo supports the usb c type gen 69420 street fighter alpha 3 which tops out at 40gb/s I think. I also bought the fastest Kingston traveller usb stick I could. It’s pretty fast. What I’ve found is the diff between pcie5 and 4 is really not noticeable to me. Nice to have but I think I should have bought a bigger pcie 4 than a 1tb 5 nvme.

1·22 days agoHow is it on raspbian? Would it run on a pi zero 2w? I’ll try it when I get home tonight.

Linux@lemmy.ml•Turns out I have been updating wrong all this time! 🤦🏼
64·25 days agoI may be wrong but I think it’s apt-get dist-upgrade. apt full-upgrade does the same too.

What other apps are in the UwU stack?
