I’d say that big concern is AA missiles falling on Ukraine. It opens a can of worms where technically Polish-operated missile might kill citizens of Ukraine. Nothing is 100% failsafe. They probably need to flash out all possible eventualities and it’s not risk-free politically, so it requires someone motivated enough to push the thing through.

The risk is there no mater what Poland does. Russian missiles already fell on Polish land. If russia could do more they’d already do that.

Poland can just declare that they are protecting from stray missiles before they enter their airspace. What are russians going to do? Fire missiles at NATO country? At the very least, they’d just get massive wall of AA along the Polish border shooting down missiles even deeper in Ukraine.

Remember that russia already claimed that there is NATO crew manning the AA systems in Ukraine. Following their propaganda, this would actually be deescalation.

What kills Civilization for me is the phase in which I just wait for production or other stat to fill up and there’s nothing interesting to do for couple turns.

Civilization Revolution is kind of black sheep of the Civ family, because it’s “dumbed down” and “not a true civilization game”, but IMO it has much better pacing.

I think they might be talking about manual configuration. Some systems let you configure DNS separately from IP configuration. (So you could set up custom DNS while using DHCP) With some you’d have to set static IP as well, which might not be convenient but also possible.

I generally avoid Ryanair where I can, but I flew with them many times before and never had this issue. They were one of the first airlines I encountered that required login to purchase tickets, so this is all in line with their behavior.

I think this is just Ryanair trying to discourage 3rd party ticket sales more than anything else. They have always been very hostile towards that option. Of you want to fly Ryanair, buy directly from them, from my experience the prices are the same anyways and there’s no face id required.

As for the €55 airport check-in fee, that definitely goes to Ryanair. They are just famous for trying to extract as much money post-sale as possible. It has nothing to do with the identification, it’s just Ryanair not having free check-in on airport. I don’t think your face has €55 value to them, it’s the other way around. Using the airport check-in is kind of last resort option (for example when you didn’t do the online check-in on time) and they know that customer would be in desperate enough situation to pay that much to fly.

It might still be useful to turn it off in some scenarios. For example you might not want firefox bothering you with the account on work PC where it might be against company policy to use the cloud sync.
