I doubt this. Technology is continually improving. Computers get faster and run cooler every day. HVAC systems continue to improve efficiency as well. By 2030 who knows if AI as we currently know it will still be around. Maybe we will have switched to light-based circuitry by then as well.

Only a couple of species of mosquitoes actually bite human beings. At least one of those species is not native to the United States. We can safely kill those species and it should not impact the diet of birds and other things, sincere will still be plenty of other mosquitoes to go around.

Amazon owns some really good franchises, but they just can’t seem to produce any decent content from them.

I know this is how the books handle this as well, but I don’t like the whole flashback plotline that reveals how the silos came to be. It reminds me of how bad stories lean on exposition, rather than letting the main characters discover and solve the mystery.

Remakes remakes remakes. What a waste of talent and money.

They’re retrofitting existing cars. Leaving the steering wheel and pedals means they don’t spend money removing them. It also means they can remove the lidar bolt ons, and resell them as normal used cars later.

For more than three passengers, they’ll probably retrofit a larger vehicle like a van or an suv.

After the death of a major character, the rest of the season went terribly dull. I gave up about halfway through it.

They won’t get bailed out. Their farms will be bought up by conglomerates and private equity at drastically reduced prices.

Tying healthcare to your employer is the stupidest thing ever.

CBS still gets paid. “Comics Unleashed” is basically an infomercial. I do wonder what they are bringing in vs the ad revenue from Colbert. I also wonder if affiliates can opt out of showing Unleashed or if they can run their own paid programming during the time slot.

Mine doesn’t. Because I set it up with no Internet connection, so it’s just a dumb tv now.

The trailers make it look awful. Like as bad as “Invasion” from AppleTV.
