That sucks. If I block you I expect to cut you off completely. You shouldn’t be able to see me or interact with me. I shouldn’t exist anymore as far as you can tell. Otherwise what’s the point?

No idea how Discord’s blocking works since I’ve luckily never needed it. What makes it so useless?

Not sure if you’re on desktop or mobile. On mobile I’m using Mull with uBlock origin in medium mode. I don’t see any videos in the article you linked and I don’t see most of the annoyances many people complain about.

This is a rather strict setup that can break some sites, but over time you can tune it to make most sites work without intervention on future visits.

I’m all for user agent settings, but I don’t want to mess with that for work stuff. So, I just use Chrome or Edge for that one site.

I know it is. That’s exactly why I mentioned that happening. Sorry if that was unclear.

ETA: I just read my previous comment again. I meant to say Vivaldi, not Opera.

I don’t use it, but from what I understand it’s from the developers of Opera before it became a Chinese spyware browser. Back when it was good. It’s great if you’re looking for customization and options.

As a disclaimer, the reason I don’t use it is because I need a Chromium browser for work and Vivaldi (a Chromium based browser) gave me an error that said I need to use Chrome or Edge.

I recently had to move, because my previous instance is shutting down. I got to keep all of my settings and the commubities I follow. It also kept blocked accounts and communities, but not blocked instances.
