If this post has traumatised anyone you should go home and start playing Tetris. It really works. Some study said if you play Tetris after trauma it changes your neural pathways so you’re less likely to get ptsd
Patrolling the Mojave almost makes you wish for a nuclear winter
I was once in a very heated argument online that I was on the verge of losing so I got up to get a drink and gather my thoughts. When I came back, Ganon jumped down from the keyboard and walked away nonchalantly like nothing happpened. I refreshed the page and the other guy deleted their account after being througholy roasted to the point of no return.
their recent video was both the #1 thumbnail on chromecast after my youtube video ended and on the trending section of newpipe today. i’ve never interacted with their content I personally find it unwatchable, but guy is getting a hard push clearly
well, now I don’t, so thanks
I’m unclear what percentage is bots and what is oblivious people with nothing useful to add but a compulsion to contribute anyway.
I’m convinced (without evidence) that the bots who have wholesale taken over that aren’t just copying and pasting are LLMs instructed to respond “in the sarcastic tone of a redditor”.
With bots being the majority, any actual human who enters the conversation either emulates that style to fit in, or to seek the upvotes/approval of everyone else who gets it for responding in that way.
The LLMs then train off this new, more toxic engagement going forward, creating an Ouroboros-esque race to the bottom

I worked somewhere with legitimate Aerons once. Was the only office chair I’ve shared workspaced on that didn’t have either an odorous reek or armrests picked to bare foam.
Project Farm on YouTube often rates Ryobi, Husky, and Harbor Freight brands as being pretty good.
Probably the most entertaining part of Mortal Engines was a scene from the museum of history where they revealed the Minions to be some kind of revered ancient deity
We know the air is unfit to breathe and our food is unfit to eat. We sit watching our TVs while some local newscaster tells us that today we had 15 homicides and 63 violent crimes as if that’s the way it’s supposed to be! We know things are bad, worse than bad, they’re crazy!!! It’s like everything everywhere is going crazy so we don’t go out anymore! We sit in the house and slowly the world we’re living in is getting smaller and all we say is ‘please at least leave us alone in our living rooms. Let me have my toaster and my TV and my steel-belted radials and I won’t say anything’!
I found the Palm Portable Keyboard I’m pretty sure I donated 10 years ago, didn’t buy it though gave it away for a reason even though it’s really quite neat
there is a hotwheels r/c version of the cybertruck I wanted to buy for memes, but so many reviews said it would burn out the first day you play with it… I should have bought one for the content (the price got jacked up)
I bought Haze for PS3 the day it came out even after reading a lot of mid to negative reviews, both because I really love all three TimeSplitters games and wanted to support the devs, and also out of a feeling of ‘how bad could it really be?’. It was incredibly boring, graphically underwhelming, and I ended up beating it the same day I bought it. Tried to trade it in and even on release week EB offered me an incredibly insulting amount, like $7 or something, and I still took it.
myself and everyone I knew were massive fans of the N64 WCW and WWF games, but I had played the PS2 Yukes! games at friends houses and always kinda hated them. Ended up getting Wrestlemania X8 because I somehow got to actually go to the event at Skydome, and even with that huge bias still thought the game was shit and barely ever played it.
Wrestlemania was fucking wild though, it fell on the same day as St. Patricks and everyone there was drunk as shit, tons of fan scuffles and rowdiness, as a high schooler was a total blast.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pF6QaE69Dus Rerez did a video about it that just about covers everything there is to the game, I found it amusing
Local place has bruschetta tomatoes as a topping, so good
