Comics have an issue with Marvel and DC sucking up most of the air in the room just to rehash the same characters for the millionth time. I’m generally pretty unenthused with superhero stuff and the general aesthetic around that content, however I do like batman to an extent and have enjoyed the movies and stuff related to him. If I wanted to read a batman comic where do I even start? The beginning? Which beginning? His first appearance back in the 40s or the beginning of one of the many iterations of batman? Now I have to do research into 80 years of content just to figure out what to read, or just pick one at random.
The appeal of manga is just being able to read three series in a week that each explore a different setting/idea and are only one volume apiece. If someone tells me to read a longer series I can just start at chapter one and go until I hit the end. Manga/anime absolutely have some oversaturated settings/ideas as well but there’s generally a lot more space for other stuff to get seen and do well, get anime adaptations, etc
Did this release see sched_ext
merged? Was looking forward to messing around with that.
I live right next to a venue that hosts concerts during the summer so there’s no escaping hearing what’s playing most of the time despite the special windows my apartment complex supposedly put in.
A couple days ago they had someone doing some really nice instrumental guitar stuff which I’m always on the lookout for. Turned out to be Hermanos Gutiérrez and I’ve been really enjoying listening to their stuff since then.
Directly onto pizza. The end
Their logos are always great. Took a class on Vulcan in college and managed to snag one of these .
Should probably wear it more often but it was probably too big for me even at the time
I doubt the goal is to produce easily understood bash, otherwise you’d just write bash to begin with. It’s probably more similar to a typescript transpiler that takes in a language with different goals and outputs something the interpreter can execute quickly (no comment on how optimized this thing is).
I believe version 555 of the Nvidia driver is supposed to get the explicit sync patch.
Nixos is immutable to force system configuration through the declarative nix configs/build system not to limit tinkering.
Been gaming on nixos for a month or two and haven’t had any issues AFAICT
I wanted to try Ubuntu on a live disk back in highschool (~2012) but ended up wiping the drive on my laptop. Had to ask a friend who knew Linux for help so I could actually use it. That was eventually followed by debian and Manjaro. Later I tried arch on my desktop, got tired of that and switched back to windows for a few years. I’ve been running nixos for a while now and have been really enjoying it.
I use it with gnome on nixos without any problems AFAICT. Had the explicit sync issue with Nvidia initially but I ended up buying an rx6800 to use as the host GPU when I set up win11 with KVM. Been completely fine since.
That is wildly optimistic
Have a Hiby r3 pro. I work from home so not a lot of reasons to use it normally but it is nice to bring on trips
Ever since they added tab stacking it’s become vital to how I use browsers. Idk if I could switch to something else without it having a way to approximate that flow.
