Wildberries (Russian: Вайлдберриз, Vayldberriz) is the largest Russian online retailer. It was founded in 2004 by Tatyana Kim.
All Recovery is an app to recover deleted or lost items from your Android’s internal memory. All Recovery can recover photos, videos, audios and documents that have been previously deleted on the device.
Yeah, what’s up with Latvia? Why would people mass-download a grocery store app? Besides, iki is better. At least it was 10 years ago. Do they still have iki?
Because of discounts
Nice one Netherlands.
The Netherlands continues to be my top choice for a place to live if I end up fleeing my country. If they’ll have me.
It’s expensive. Don’t forget to buy the floor for your apartment.
Edit: I’m serious about the floor. Apartments don’t come with flooring included.
If they’ll have me.
Not with the current political climate I’m afraid. Still hoping for a shift to the left, as our right wing parties just showed they are completely incompetent. Hoping for the best, expecting the worst though.
I’m sure a lot of us here can say that’s the only one on the map we have
That’s depressing as fuck.
I know. Cheap crap is a stain.
It’s not about cheap crap, it’s about the predatory nature of almost all apps shown and how well-known it is that they’re ethically bad.
People love convenience. And most can’t be assed to get everything from ethical sources.
Just try going to a grocery store and buy tropical fruit that wasn’t picked by slaves or heavily exploited farmers.
Sure, it’s not impossible but it’s way easier and cheaper to go for the big brands.
Only Netherland and Bulgaria can be proud of themselves.
Nobody can be as proud of themselves (because of this list I mean) as Lithuania: “LT72 is a website intended to prepare Lithuanian residents for emergencies. It allows residents to learn how to be be prepared for an accident, …”
Offtopic but IMO “Netherland” would be a better English name than the fussy “The Netherlands”. And Nederland would be better still. It’s easily pronounceable.
Loving Bulgaria. Everybody’s doing social networks, meanwhile they’re “ooh, a puzzle game!”
Temu is more like a capitalism network than a social network, but yeah Chad Bulgaria playing tetris instead of giving into consumerism.
Netherlands it is then.
Is Temu really that much cheaper compared to Aliexpress to be “worth it”?
People really use temu? I thought it was all crap.
Edit:
Out of everything the most depressing is Klarna. It’s a buy now pay later microloans that should just be forbidden.
I don’t know if it was the case in other countries but in Belgium a very popular app used to store loyalty cards was bought by Klarna. It was not really clear that you could continue to use the old app for a while and not switch to Klarna. So I know a lot of people that just installed the app just to be able to have access to their cards.
Yes, it’s like this in my country as well.
Yes, it’s like this in my country as well.
TIL Bulgaria is the best country in Europe
Kosovo out here just trying to avoid speed traps.
Wtf is klarna?
Swedish fintech for online payments. A lot of young people go into debts with their “shop now, buy later” function
So credit card with extra steps?
Downloaded through what?
99% of all software I use I downloaded from my distro repository, GitHub or torrent trackers. I doubt that this “infographics” counts that.
Colloquially, apps usually just means phone apps these days. So that means it’s probably Android Play Store, and iOS App Store.
i use arch btw
You are not the average person when it comes to downloading and installing software. Of course statistics like this one won’t count that.
I’m sure they don’t even try.
Far more effort to try than the value it would add to the data
this is highly likely the play store
Plus the Apple AppStore, I assume.
Might actually be only the Play Store cause I googled All Recovery (thinking it might be because all of Serbia could want to go sober) and it only returned results of an Android app.
This can’t be correct. No way people use Signal more than Whatsapp in NL. And Temu, this app Google Play tries to spam you with? Why?
It is the most downloaded app in 2024
I think most Dutchies already had Whatsapp installed prior to 2024.
