I went to Chicago with my high school jazz band, and my dad lent me his leather jacket for the trip. I left it in the rehearsal room and they wouldn’t let me go back to get it, so I had to buy my dad a new leather jacket.

Went to pee, but could not unlock the stall door after. I was and still am too socially awkward to call for help. So I climbed over the top of the wall into the next cabin and walked out. Nobody ever noticed. Legends say the door is still locked to this day and whoever can open it shall be crowned as king.

I have an 8th grade DC trip story myself, actually. We were at one of those colonial reenactment places where everything is brown and people dress like it’s the 18th century. It was alright.

I got distracted and zoned out near the end, the bus left without me, and I was basically stranded in the 1700’s for most of an hour. It sucked but it was hilarious.

At one hotel we wrote “fuck you” on a piece of paper and hid it under a desk lamp.

On that same trip I made every kid on the bus refuse to eat lunch because I opened my burger and pointed out it had a “weird texture”.

That’s enough detail that if you were in my class I’ve basically doxxed myself. But if you found that note under the lamp, I want you to know that I sincerely meant it.

I knew a guy who knew a guy who was abandoned by the bus driver (presumably because he took too long to pee) in a small town in the middle of the Thar. That’s a desert

In 8th grade I opted to stay home from the DC field trip. I’d already been there with family before anyways and also hated all of my classmates.
