Given that Copland OS is built to access what works like a crossbreed between the internet and and the Zone from the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games, I think it’s reassuring that we don’t have it in our world.
Copland was supposed to take over the world at the time the anime was made, so that makes sense. Didn’t quite turn it that way, of course, which is probably for the better.
