US is not party to the ICC and has a standing policy to invade the Hague and end the eu if the icc detains or tries a single american citizen for any crime.
Would that have any result? Couldn’t the US, being on the security council, simply veto whatever resolution was put forward?
I think the ICC is somewhat independent of the security council. Still part of UN I believe… I think they indicted Dick Cheney maybe back in the day.
