Cruz/Wyden bill would help Americans sue federal officials over censorship.

Ted Cruz bent the knee to Trump and sucked the dick of the most pro-censorship regime in the history of the United States. He’s completely unqualified to fight censorship, and I wouldn’t trust a single thing that came out of that piece of shits mouth.

He doesn’t mean a single thing he says, so why would anyone trust him? https://idonotlikethatmantedcruz.com/

I’m struggling to figure out Cruz’s angle on this. I know he is a giant POS with zero redeeming qualities so something is up here.

He never intended for it to pass. He just wants to be able to say that he was on the popular side of an issue. Don’t forget, he wants to be president more than anything in the world, so everything he does is about the next presidential election.

its about uncensoring hate speech im sure, so they can go on tv and spew their vitriol and sue if their hate vomit isn’t aired or aired in full or some shit. they want to be able to go on the news and openly call for killing brown people and trans people. its obvious nazi shit. tolerate the intolerable under the guise of “free speech”.

Maybe he’s trying to win conservative brownie points by fighting the ‘Biden vaccine agenda’. He’d really be kicking a dead horse with that but…please clap

“The Biden administration weaponized the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency to pressure Big Tech into ‘canceling’ Americans who spoke out against vaccine mandates and election fraud. Holding the government accountable and giving Americans the tools to fight back is essential,” Cruz said.

Can American politicians focus on actual policy at least half as much as they do to find zinger acronyms for their bill names?

Ted Cruz can’t because he has only culture war and lies. Ron Wyden has real experience drafting laws and policy (Section 230). Wyden needed a republican turd to join up for a bi-partisan bill. He found a sucker who put his name on it (for all the wrong reasons, but right-wing dipshits don’t look into anything, so it still works). Sometimes, you take what you can get to advance your cause.

I know that doesn’t mean he’s intelligent, you can buy your way in, but he sure as shit understood why this was a lie. It shows his contempt for his supporters (deserved, earned, they are stupid as a rock). Which is why this happened:)

Critics may chastise me for pulling all my pro-Wyden links from a single source (TechDirt). You can find the same info on his policies pretty much anywhere. I just like TechDirt’s tone in calling things what they are. Any other serious (as in, not right-wing propaganda) reporters will agree on the facts of what he’s done, but they are often coy / timid about calling out those acting in bad faith.

You know what you need to get a bill through? Bi-partisanship. We had it for the Epstein Files Transparency Act. Not that it did all that much in the long run, but at least it passed. You think we’re gonna pass laws to (attempt to) hold this admin accountable without a repub putting their name on it? Fat chance. Use one of the dumb idiots to launder your message for their audience. Again, they’re too stupid / thoughtless / disinterested to actually look into anything. It’s a win.
