Trialling a new co-working space today and it is so QUIET. People in here are just doing their work and not disrupting others. I already love it here, also closer to home. It’s much less corporate feeling than the current place, more rough around the edges, no bubbly water on tap, kitchen’s a bit grubby but that’s fine. Will wait to the end of the day to make a decision but I am so keen for a change up. There’s also an office cat which is another huge plus. I’m not sure he likes me yet but I will win him over.

Office cat would definitely make me look past a slightly downtrodden kitchen. Bubbly water on tap though, ooooh.

Having another day off mostly because I slept in. I feel bad but I also haven’t taken any medicine yet today.

I feel like having the option to WFH has meant I’ve worked through some sickness I probably should have taken off.

The kids and the GF are also at home today so impromptu family day

With the slight increase of my SNRI dose (per dr orders, dw) I am so freaking sleepy. Same effect as when I first started them in late 2018, so I’m pretty confident it will pass.

Can’t cry for days on end if I’m sleeping I guess lol

Shoes are hard - any kind of glue has to be super flexible and waterproof etc. Take shoes to proper shoe mender is my advice. Then you can blame them if the soles fall off.

Stayed up too late reading a crappy but easy book. Am halfway through it and nothing much has happened and it’s all so repetitive and I know how it’ll end, but it’s still nice to switch my brain off.

I just recently stopped using my iPhone 7

not only wasn’t it supported by ios, apple and my apps couldn’t be updated it was physically wearing out

seriously, for the price they charge phones should last 20 years and be repairable

I used my 4s until it literally became unusable due to the satellite sync issue. Still got it here, one day I shall get around to jailbreaking it and turning it into the music player for the garage.

Optus are just using the “Make sure 000 still works” to force claims of obsolescence. Cunce.

(the last phone I bought was literally a Nokia 3310. I just take everyone’s hand me downs when they upgrade through plans, I don’t give a shit. It’s a phone. It makes calls.)

I think they’re about to find out you can’t.

I’m guessing the logic is “Oh but you see it’s out of support we can’t guaranteeeeee it will still call 000”

It might work on an old as hell model that actually has a 3g antennae, but the router patch was put in an IOS that predates my fucking phone so good fucking luck claiming that shit.

It’s not their place to be spooked though. “Does this phone as sold support 4g provider hopping for 000” is where their concerns should fucking end.
